It is officially May which means we are celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month 2022 (AAPI)! Wondering how to support the Asian American and Pacific Islander community? Directly support a sustainable Asian-Owned business! So today, I wanted to share a few American and Canadian eco-conscious companies that I absolutely love who make some amazing sustainable products! Let’s jump right into it!

1. Cadence

Cadence makes the cutest, coolest-looking reusable containers I’ve seen! They’re perfect for travel, to have in your bag, or for your everyday routine! They partner with Envision Plastics who collect plastic from beaches around the world by employing local communities. Definitely check out their awesome capsule containers here!

2. Krave Beauty

Krave is a great sustainable Asian-Owned business selling a range of skincare! They aren’t 100% zero waste but they are super conscious of the packaging of their products. You’ll find a complete recycling guide on their product pages so you know what plastic goes where and what products are made from glass. The Great Barrier Relief Serum is my go-to moisturizing serum and it helps my skin irritation. I notice a huge difference in my skin so if you want to try the serum for yourself you can find it here. I highly recommend it if you have sensitive skin!

3. Meow Meow Tweet

I LOVE this brand, I’ve been using their products for over 5 years at this point. Their deodorant comes in a compostable tube and is one of the only deodorants that has truly worked for my sensitive skin. I’ve used their lip balms and a lot of different products from them. They are cruelty-free, vegan, and low waste. They have some great eco-friendly personal care products for your bathroom. You can find the deodorant here! 4. Blueland

If you’ve been on my Youtube channel, you know I talk about Blueland a lot! They’re a great cleaning company where you will find cleaning sprays, laundry detergents, washing detergents, and soaps. They have refillable spray bottles and compostable packaging! They’re a perfect zero waste option for an affordable eco-friendly cleaning routine. You can find Blueland’s range here!

5.Cocokind

Cocokind makes sustainable and natural skincare! What makes them different is that their products look like they’re made from plastic… but it is actually a bioplastic made from sugarcane! Wild right?! You can find the range of their products here. Their sunscreen is one of my favorites from them!

6. Huppy

Sooo I haven’t tried Huppy yet, but it is definitely on my list. They make zero waste toothpaste tablets (in awesome colorful packaging, which is always a plus in my book)! 7. Naked Frankie

This is another one for the bucket list that I need to try! If you’re in LA, you definitely have to try this refill delivery service. They deliver their eco-friendly and zero waste products straight to your door! Check them out here!

8. Eco Amical

You might have seen Christine, creator of Eco Amical, on TikTok. She is an eco and zero waste content creator who makes zero waste beauty and skincare products! So if you want to support a fellow sustainable content creator and this amazing Asian-owned business, you can check out Eco Amical here!

9.Kind Laundry

Have you heard of Laundry Detergent sheets? This Canadian brand is on my must-have sustainable swaps list. I love seeing more laundry detergent options, and these are one of my favorites, if not the favorite! They truly work super well! You can check them out here. 10. Coconut Whisk

Who doesn’t love food? I know I do! Coconut Whisk make all kinds of vegan and gluten-free baking mixes! You’ll find vegan cookies, pancakes, muffins, and cake mixes!
