If you’ve been following my sustainable lifestyle journey for a while, then you know I’ve done some serious research into recycled and bamboo toilet paper. I now have multi-ply (get it? multi-ply instead of multiple.. haha) youtube videos dedicated to it. I’ve tried a bunch of sustainable toilet paper brands so you don’t have to. Let’s get to the bottom of this and go through some of the best eco-friendly toilet paper brands.
You’ve heard me talk about Reel before simply because they are an amazing company creating 100% bamboo toilet paper. Reel is a sustainable Black-owned business that prioritizes donating some profits to help build toilets for those in need. It is one of my favorite bamboo toilet paper companies, so they are sitting at the top of the list. You can try them for yourself right here.
Tushy is famous for their bidet (which is amazing btw)! But did you know Tushy also makes bamboo toilet paper? So if you’re not ready to make the complete switch to a zero waste water-spraying bidet, then you can go for the good old toilet paper option instead!
If you’ve been looking at eco-friendly TP, you have probably heard of “Who Gives a Crap” more than once. One of the best things about Who Gives a Crap is that they donate a hugeeee 50% of their profits to help build toilets for those in need, and we love a sustainable and charitable brand! Check out their range here.
Cloud Paper is on the list for making their toilet paper from bamboo! They work with sustainability-focused manufacturing partners in China, and then prioritize offsetting any carbon emissions generated during the transportation of their products! Are you looking for a super soft toilet paper option? Cloud Paper is one of your best bets. I haven’t made a YouTube review of them, but they definitely pass the softness test! Check out their toilet paper here.
Bim Bam Boo earns bonus points because they’ve created their product with women’s health in mind. They have focused on creating a non-irritating paper by using ingredients that are great for all those sensitive areas and sensitive skin. Plus Bim Bam Boo has some of the cutest packaging.
A sustainable company from our friends down under! Pure Planet Club is an Australian-based company that uses a combination of sugarcane and bamboo. They also have some of the cutest packaging you’ve ever seen (okay I know I’ve said that once… or twice) with pictures of sea life and little facts you might one day need for a trivia night. You can check out the full review and peep the cute sea life packaging here for the full in-depth review
Not only is No. 2 another great sustainable bamboo toilet paper with the cutest designs on their wrappers, they also probably have one of the greatest puns as their business name. They also trademarked the term “butt crumble.” So overall, a pretty cool company that is getting to the bottom of sustainable products.
Finally we have Bippy, the tree-free toilet paper! If having soft toilet paper is a big priortiy, Bippy certainably delivers with a straight 5 out of 5 for softness. The price is slightly on the higher end therefore it’s towards the end of my list…but if you really want that silky soft feel then Bippy is a perfect option for you.
Have you tried any of these sustainable toilet paper brands before? Let me know which one is your favorite or if there are any I missed.
