I want to start this blog off by saying that paper towels can be super wasteful, so it is always better to use a reusable option like a plain old normal towel or Swedish dishcloth. It is always best to reduce the number of paper towels you use as they are single-use products. But, at least they are paper and you can compost them!
The zero waste lifestyle isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing, so these bamboo paper towels are a great option! They are perfect for gross messes that you just need to clean and get rid of stat!
Here are the 3 zero waste recycled & bamboo paper towels to check out!
Firstly, let’s start off with a classic. Reel paper towels are made from bamboo, come in 12 rolls per box, and are 150 sheets at 2ply. On top of their awesome sustainable practices, they are a Black-owned company that also works with SOIL to provide toilets and remove waste in Haiti. Click here to check out Reel.
They are a Seattle-based brand of bamboo paper towels that also come in a box of 12, 150 sheets per roll and are 2ply. Cloud partners with Food Lifeline to distribute over 120,000 donated rolls to food banks and shelters in the community. We love a charitable company, so check out Cloud Paper here.
You’ve probably heard of Who Gives a Crap from their toilet paper! Well they also make paper towels out of bamboo AND sugar cane (so a slightly different option from the choices above). In each box you’ll find 6 rolls per box, 120 sheets per roll and are 2ply. They are a certified B corporation and donate a huge 50% of their profits to build toilets for those in need. Check out Who Gives A Crap here.
